Friendship was at the heart of these works composed by Benjamin Britten and Franz Schubert for close friends of their respective circles. Highly acclaimed tenor Nicholas Phan, whose two, superlative recordings of Britten works, honors those composers with his compelling program of songs, along with his own brilliant friends and colleagues.
