These four hip German recorder artists won first prize in the Concert Artist Guild Competition and claimed a new status for their instrument. Playing as many as 20 recorders apiece at a performance -- some old, some new, some as long as 6 feet -- they reposition the recorder as a viable and versatile modern instrument. This eighth Regents Park Discovery Concert will delight early and new music fans alike.
