THE 2026-27 DON MICHAEL RANDEL ENSEMBLE-IN-RESIDENCE
Stylistically omnivorous composer and pianist Craig Taborn views music-making as an exercise in discovery, drawing from his jazz training to push the full expressive range of his instrument. A frequent collaborator with Tomeka Reid and Vijay Iyer, Taborn and his Trio create a sound that is immersive, audacious, and unequivocally jazzy.
