Committed to preserving and performing the baroque repertoire of France’s Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, Le Concert de l’Hostel Dieu reimagines the music of the past with a collaborative, contemporary sensibility. Under harpsichordist and artistic director Franck-Emmanuel Comte, The Ghost of Hamlet weaves together music from rediscovered operas by Handel, Scarlatti, and others into a musical portrait of Shakespeare’s iconic tragedy.

Presented in partnership with the France Chicago Center.
