How do classical and popular music converge? Chicago's acclaimed Black chamber ensemble D-Composed interrogates this question as featured guests in a live recording of the award-winning podcast Switched On Pop, hosted by musicologist Nate Sloan and songwriter Charlie Harding. Drawing on their experience collaborating with pop artists Sudan Archives, Jamila Woods, and María Zardoya, D-Composed will explore how these projects are made and what they mean for music in the age of AI. The podcast recording will be followed by a Q&A and a live set by D-Composed.
