Imani Winds

The brilliant and intrepid Imani Winds join the citywide celebrations and pay tribute to Chicago poet Gwendolyn Brooks' centenary with this concert that honors artists who forge their own paths. The program includes works by Wayner Shorter and Jason Moran written for the Imani Winds, music by two of the Imani members, and world premieres of three works written for the occassion.
