This eclectic program includes a Ballet Suite by UChicago's own Augusta Read Thomas, Gershwin's beloved An American in Paris, the world premiere of Derrick Skye's A Soulful Nexus, blending dance music grooves and classical Persian melodies, and the group's most performed work – Splinter by Chicago-based composer Marc Mellits.
