Renowned for her captivating interpretations of Florence Price's piano compositions, Cann's illustrious career includes acclaimed solo recitals, dynamic chamber music collaborations with Catalyst, Dover, and Juilliard string quartets, a GRAMMY award, and her 2023 debut solo album Revival, showcasing works by Price and Margaret Bonds. Her program breathes life into the vivid musical contributions of The Women of Chicago’s Black Renaissance, featuring piano works by Price, Bonds, Hazel Scott, Betty Jackson King, and Nora Holt.
